This strain was created from a collaborative effort at the Luthon based Exodus Crew in the UK. It was originally bred from a rare female version of Skunk #1 that exhibited an extraordinary smell of vintage Cheese. Hybridised with Afghani #1 Indica, a Mexican Sativa and a Colombian Sativa.
Thanks to its well balanced effect of a physical and cerebral mixture Cheese quickly became one of the Top Ten strains sold in all the coffeeshops in Amsterdam. Its popularity and the fact that the strain won numerous awards in the High Times Cannabis Cup, Cheese has become classified as a highly commercial variety, comparable to Big Bud, Skunk #1, Power Plant, and Critical+.
